Low Cost carier plans lunch into nigeria airspace


Nigerian aviation may soon see competition from a planned new Low Cost Carrier, set to launch in the country in July 2014. Onboard the project is the former managing director of Arik Air (W3, Lagos) and Camair-Co (QC, Douala), Alex Van Elk, who says the carrier is a joint partnership between Nigerian and French investors. Quoted by Nigeria's Nation, Mr Van Elk said the carrier, as yet unnamed, would aim to launch before July 2014 and focus on the country's domestic market initially
